ANNOUNCING NEW ECOS ALARMING LINK: LIFECORD

The first and only ALARMING Engine Cut-Off Switch (ECOS) link that knows when you are wearing it by a beep and light to remind you to clip on if you are not properly attached.

DID YOU KNOW?

In calendar year 2022, the Coast Guard counted 4,040 accidents that involved 636 deaths, 2,222 injuries and approximately $63 million dollars of damage to property as a result of recreational boating accidents. The vast majority of boat accident fatalities in 2022 were by drowning (75%), and 85% of those who drowned were not wearing life jackets. Approximately 173 boating accidents involved at least one person striking the boat’s propeller, leading to 41 deaths and 182 injuries.
These accidents are almost always preventable!

The death toll from boating accidents ranks second among deaths in all modes of transportation.
Open motorboats are involved in half of the fatalities recorded.

There are too many boating accidents every year; our goal is to help reduce that number by providing access to Lifecords, Prop Guards, and Lifejackets for Sailing Organizations, coaches, recreational and personal use, and more!
